Many of us had to change the office to work remotely and the mobility with this has become less, and this is already a bell that it’s time to monitor your day and activity.
We asked Valentina Rudenko, BODYART / FITNESS personal trainer and doctor, how to maintain physical tone while working from home.
First of all, stick to a regimen
Habits are a very powerful tool that conserves a lot of energy. Therefore, it is very important to create a clear daily routine and stick to it. After a few days, you will notice how productive the day has become.
Add workouts to your schedule
You need to start by determining when you have the most strength to train. If you have training equipment, put it in an easily accessible place. If you don’t have the opportunity to attend offline workouts at a fitness club, find an online trainer – this will motivate you not to skip classes, and you will be sure that you are doing the exercises with the correct technique. Of course, you can use video training or apps, but their disadvantage is the lack of feedback.
Take short breaks
There can be breaks of 5-10 minutes to get up and stretch. Light exercises for the muscles of the neck, shoulders and back will also be great. Don’t forget to walk, even in a small space, or just around the table.
